Also not sure where LLM can park the issues you aren’t able to address right now? Hit me up, I’m working on something and can invite you.
You have to play the game as the game stands, and Apple controls the game.
Any app that prompts for reviews gets a 1-star from me, it’s a dark pattern to game the system in my view, even if it’s the official rules that doesn’t make it right. But I turned off the prompt setting, so any prompts that I see are disrespectful.
Like bitbar or xbar but run a Linux system? github.com/svandragt… well I started something.
Created a lovely elementaryOS Files App inspired switcher between the live view and the completion log. Still working on the terminology. Also used the ctrl+1/2 convention to switch between views. #folio
Added experimental AI analysis for Vinted rule changes to rulesnapper.org! This makes it easy to see how you are affected as a seller.
Vinted UK highlight: bundle photo rules have been relaxed — you no longer have to show every item in a bundle in your first photo. Small change, big quality-of-life improvement for sellers listing sets and collections. Full rule change: rulesnapper.org/vinted.co…
It’s pretty amazing times for personal computing. With some engineering experience or a lot of back and forth you can materialize your own software idea scaled up to daily productivity use as fast as you can think of features plus the time to take a coffee break after each iteration!
- You can open files with a keyboard shortcut.
- Cut and copy now work on whole task blocks instead of individual lines.
- You can convert selected lines into tasks.
- Double-clicking a task in the rendered pane moves the editor cursor to that task.
- Flagged-filter rendering was fixed so flagged children are no longer dimmed incorrectly.
- Completion logs view:
- completed tasks are grouped by day
- done dates are included in output
- logs render as themed HTML “receipts”
- Tasks can now include assignees in titles and tags.
- A waiting state marker ? was added for tasks that are handled externally.
- The filter bar can now hide waiting tasks.

Interested or have questions? Love to hear :)
Got some more work done on my todo app Folio. Here I assigned some tasks and then filtered by that. Also shows priority visualisation, tags, and sections.
Never mind vibe coding and article slop, vibe slop commenting is all the rage, just look below any ai article 🙃
Playing around with a cross between a GUI and markdown todo app. Supports assigned tasks, tags, projects, flagging, priorities and deleting lines as well as what’s in the video. demo

Reading this summary on Grief and the AI split I had some related thoughts: Every time I read an extensive CLAUD.md file I think human onboarding has never been better. I just don’t know why it’s not called CONTRIBUTING.
It’s up to the AI Engineer to build up the framework in which the AI operates. How can you measure well crafted code? Install code quality tooling and set a bar to clear it, write the tests first etc. spend some time writing down your philosophy and then let ai build code that way. This would have not been needed if you wrote the code but if you choose to have ai be the actor then your role is to tell it how to play.
Just a reminder not to drop half eaten chocolate products on the street as these can kill pets if digested thanks.
Trying to invent a premium music packaging format: Open Album Package (OAP) is an open, deterministic, hackable album container format. It’s not perfect, I already want to add some text form aside from lyrics, and I forgot the file extension .oap. I might build a player in Godot.
